Green Wood Joinery
A traditional method of joining wood without the use of hardware. The legs are of a higher moisture content "green" and are still shrinking. Rungs are dried with use of a drying box and other methods to insure they are in a dry state at time of insertion into the green legs. The bond created is unbreakable and time-proven to last indefinitely, however these are not outdoor furnishings. They are best kept in a moisture-controlled environment, like your home.
